John WarcholJohn Warchol

John Warchol, a native of the Twin Cities and a graduate of the University of Minnesota. After graduating from the Hamline University School of Law with honors in 1980 John spent several years working under the direction of some of the Twin Cities best attorneys. Today, he is not only a seasoned trial and appellate attorney, but also a skilled, level-headed negotiator who serves his client’s interests by bringing common sense, and tenacity to the table without losing sight of the client’s goals. These skills combine to assist clients toward resolution of their issues, often avoiding or reducing the cost of the traditional adversarial court process. He is well respected by his clients, judges, fellow attorneys, mediators, and business people. Over the years, many of his referrals have come from opposing parties or their counsel who have experienced first-hand the measure of his skills.

John's practice areas include family law (especially complex valuation issues), commercial real estate acquisition, sales, financing, leasing, as well as general corporate representation. In the latter field, John has represented clients in employment and discrimination matters, collection activities, Mechanic's Liens, and Shareholder Disputes.

John has lectured at numerous continuing legal education conferences during his career. For over 15 years he has served as an adjunct professor of law at Hamline University School of Law sharing his expertise and experience with the next generation of lawyers.

John’s professional accolades include recognition by his peers as a Minnesota Super Lawyer five years in a row and being the recipient of the M. Arnold Lyons Scholar Award for outstanding academic achievement in his law school graduating class. John has three grown children and enjoys sailing, golf, and good food in his spare time.
